I have been to Flour Child Bakery since the first year or 2 they started and everything they make is amazing! I'm a sucker for their Death by Chocolate Cupcake, which has a ganache filling (and I am a huge Vanilla girl) as well as their coconut custard pie. 😋
Amazing experience!! The staff is so friendly and helpful! My partner was deployed during our wedding planning and they were patient and so helpful with making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The cake and cupcakes were amazing and everyone kept telling us how great they tasted! Definitely recommend!!!
Incredibly lovely local bakery, filled with delicious treats. Don't let the variety scare you... Get a little bit of everything. My favorite are the cupcakes. Which are divine and definitely worth the price! Could not recommend the red velvet ones more than I do (even if i don't want to share them). The iced latte was also very good. Got my husband's birthday cake from them as well, and it was a hit. We've definitely found our new birthday cake spot for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend.
wonderful! i ordered 120 cupcakes for my boss’ wife’s birthday party and they were awesome! the cupcakes were in plastic containers that they plastic wrapped individually. i also bought a couple other treats on the fly that were awesome. i love that their treats arent too sweet! definitely check em out!
I would recommend this bakery to EVERYBODY in the 757! Everything is made from scratch & SO delicious! They made my son’s birthday cake on a late notice & it turned out better than we imagined & it tasted wonderful!! Their customer service is exceptional & their food speaks for itself! The shop is soooo adorable & has such a warm & welcoming vibe. I loved my experience through & through. They make me not wanna leave VA honestly lol! Thank you guys again!!!

Working with Flour Child Bakery was such a wonderful experience! Cassie and Cathy were very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Cake testing was really fun once my husband and I figured out we take everything home and test out all flavors from the comfort of our own couch - this is such a great idea! We knew we wanted red velvet for our 2 tier cake, but had the most fun paring flavors for our guests cupcakes. Our cake came out beautiful and the cupcakes were a hit with our guests. We loved our experience so much with Flour Child Bakery that my husband and I make occasional trips back to the bakery to treat ourselves with cake pops, scones or a slice of pie. I highly recommend!!
We ordered a cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were amazingly delicious! Flour Child Bakery really helped us get a beautiful cake and we appreciated their dedication to quality ingredients. We over-ordered cupcakes for guests but they were so good that we had surprisingly few leftovers. They were great to work with picking out our flavors and finalizing the look of our cutting cake. They have awesome flavor options and combos for cake and it honestly made it hard to pick! I recommend them for any event but also everything in their store is tasty for whenever you have a sweet craving.

Every detail in the decoration was spot-on and fit our theme perfectly. And the flavor was so delicious!
